Dear Lord, I believe in you and I believe that You guide me on my journey through life. 
Sometimes You speak deep within my hear, but often I am too busy to really pay attention to your voice. At other times You speak to me through the persons and events around me. There is enough turmoil in the world to make me feel upset and sometimes I ask myself what I can do about so much misery, poverty, violence, and injustice, but then again I return to the routine of the day.
Lord, this time I ask for the light and your guidance, to make me see what I can do with my life, with my time and talents to make this a better world. I really want to make a difference, but want to know in what way. Give me the grace to be open to whatever you have in mind for me and the courage to go wherever your Holy Will calls me.
