*** Tend My Sheep ***

A fter telling Jesus for a third time that he loved Him, Jesus asked Peter to "Tend my Sheep."  It is a command that Jesus gives each of us who profess our love for him.

We are to "tend His Sheep," to care for each other, to do God's work in our community, in our families and in our Church.

How simple the command and yet how difficult!

Just as a parent's heart is filled with limitless joy when a child does well, the heart can be filled with endless sorrow when the child, the little lamb, goes astray.

Yet we are commanded to tend to the sheep, the lamb, to each other, at all times, for that is the cost of loving Jesus

--- We must love each other ---
